Project 4 3D Printed Hollow Form Object
Step 1: My first step in the process to create my hollow form object was to create a circle with filleted edges to make it a more rounder shape. This was done by using the star point command and then using the fillet edges command. Step 2: Next I proceeded to create a pointed edge on the top to make it a dome like figure. I used the rail revolve command to achieve this form. Then, I slightly stretched the object to elongate the form. Step 3: I think mirrored the object in order to create a hourglass-like figure. This step I also used the Boolean Union command to join these two objects together and then the twist command to create its twist like pattern. Step 4: Lastly, I used the taper command to taper just around the top to create a vase-like form. Step 5: This is the final form on the Prusa Sli3er.
